Grade 11 Intoductory 35mm SLR Film Project
2012-03
NEW POST: 2012-03-27:
Our new Grade 11 Introductory Photography students have spent the first part of this semester learning all about the history of photography and how to use traditional film cameras. They have just completed their first major project - shot completely on 35mm film using
FULLY MANUAL SLR cameras. They did not have the benefit of automatic focusing, exposure control, nor something else we've all come to expect - the instant picture on the back of the camera was of course not there. The pictures are a bit grainy, but have an interesting quailty to them
and emphasize our students' strong creative expression and understanding of photographic technique, style and content selection.
